Mayne Island is a rural community with beautiful valley farms that have been in operation for decades. Deacon Vale Farm, a certified organic farm, produces fresh vegetables, livestock and preserves. Their products are available at Island stores and at the Farmers Market Saturday mornings.

You will find goats and sheep at the Meadowmist Farm. Joyce has many products available and enjoys hosting farm visits, (call first).

Look for roadside stands with fresh flowers and produce for sale throughout the Island..

Great family fun! This 23 acres of fertile valley is home to a variety of animals and fowl that supply fibre, food and fun. Eggs, chicken, lamb and chevon, goatsmilk soap, sheepskin and woolen products are available at the farm all year round and at the Farmers' Market during summer months. Visitors are welcome.
